Make Your Dream of Business Ownership Come True!

What is SMMC?

South Metro Microenterprise Coalition (SMMC) is an extensive 10 week training program designed to educate, elevate and empower you to attain economic self-sufficiency through the start up and development of your own business.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to stimulate economic self-sufficiency within the south metro area by providing resources, training and tools for self-employment to strengthen and sustain entrepreneur development.

On this website, you will find a myriad of information and resources for entrepreneurs! Do you have what it takes to be an entrepreneur? Maybe you already have an idea or even own your own business, but you still need support, ideas and help. Check out our Resources page; there you will find links to many organizations whose sole purpose is to support small businesses. So, you've got your idea, now how do you pay for it? On our Funding Information page, you will find information on SMMC micro loans and microenterprise funding sources. Find out how you can help others in their quest to own their own business on our Partnering with SMMC and How Can I Help? pages. Whether you provide free services, fund a scholarship, speak at graduation or donate goody bag items, helping out is easy! Finally, if you need some inspiration, if you feel like you are the only one in your situation, if you just need some encouragement, our Success Stories and Local Inspiration pages have just what you want!
